Coaching

Anne O’Neil brings the rare combination of professional playing experience, elite coaching, and cutting-edge performance psychology to every court and classroom she steps into.

From the WNBA to international arenas, Anne has coached, developed, and analyzed some of the best players in women’s basketball. As an assistant coach and recruiting coordinator at the Division I level, she built programs and guided athletes to peak performance.

She has been tapped by the Unrivaled League, Jr. NBA Elite Camps, Jimmy Butler’s Camps, and FIBA Africa to deliver not just basketball training, but leadership and mindset coaching that lasts long beyond the game.

In January 2025, the Unrivaled’s Inaugural season, Anne was selected as the assistant coach for Laces BC. The Unrivaled league – an innovative 3v3 professional women’s basketball league was founded by two current U.S. Olympians, Napheesa Collier and Breanna Stewart. The league features 6 teams, with 6 players on each team. Anne trained some of the best WNBA players, scouted opponents, and did stat analysis. Anne’s team made it to the Playoffs in the first year of the season.

The Unrivaled games were shown nationally on TNT and quickly gained international attention as the first league of its kind 3v3, fullcourt play with top WNBA players not having to play overseas and be trained in the USA before WNBA season.

Anne is equally dynamic on the sidelines and in the studio—an ESPN and Las Vegas Aces analyst who blends deep scouting knowledge with an engaging, high-energy presence. With certifications in neuroscience, mental performance, and meditation training (Dr. Joe Dispenza), Anne coaches athletes and executives alike on how to sharpen their skills, align their focus, and thrive under pressure.
